The 3rd October saw 130 environmental assessment professionals come together in Edinburgh for Scotland’s EIA Conference 2024. The days saw presentations and discussions including proportionate assessment, how EIA is helping enable Scotland's green energy transition and grid transformation, myth-busting around challenge risks and exploration of the use of design envelopes, biodiversity net gain and climate change.
Presentations from the day are available via this link, or you can follow the link at the bottom of the page, where you will also find links to the content from previous year's conferences .
The conference continues run in partnership with the Scottish Government and EIA's core statutory consultees - HES, NatureScot and SEPA - who were all actively engaged in the October event. We are very proud that the conference remains free to attend due to the kind support of our five sponsors for 2024:
SSEN Transmission, RSK, Brodies, LUC and SSE Renewables.
